From Footbridge @ 1mi36H x 48W / Timothy Raines © 2005 / Collection of Artist, Not for Sale

This painting is inspired by the crystal clear, churning waters coming from Barton Springs that flow under the footbridge on Town Lake (Ladybird Lake) in Austin, Texas. There is a small stone marker located on the west side of the bridge with “1mi.” chiseled on the face.
